Learn the advantage and the inside workings of your local shelter. How you can help and volunteer. What are the other options if they are full to capacity and other related topics.

This training will help us to understand why victims stay in the relationships. This is very important in order to help the victim as a first responder or if you are a family member.

We will hear from our law enforcement as to what they deal with in domestic violence situations to help us better understand the victim and their choices. We will find out what law enforcement is doing to lessen the calls and to help the victims.
