The Lighthouse Initiative desires to partner with Communities of Faith to help end Domestic & Sexual Violence by becoming a Safe Place for victims through resources and awareness. Training is vital. You must know how to handle the victim and the abuser if you are approached. You must be trained to understand their mentality. You must be trained to know what to say and what not to say. These matters are critical. Your team must be a team that is sensitive and compassionate and able to handle matters of privacy and discretion. Please consider getting involved today. The Victim in your church needs you to be able to assist with not only prayer but also with appropriate help and resources.
