Darlene is a talented and gifted woman.  Darlene exceeds the boundaries of the ordinary.  She understands now more than ever that wanting what God wants requires a high price that pushes you outside of your comfort zone, yet a blessing awaits if we can gain the tools to navigate the process.

Darlene heard the call of God many years ago to minister not only to the masses but to women especially. Philippians 1:6, "Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ."

Darlene has received her master's in theological studies from Baylor University's George W. Truett Theological Seminary. She has also been accepted into the Doctoral program at Anderson University Clamp Divinity School in South Carolina where she will pursue her Doctor of Ministry Degree in 21st Century Ministry Online.

She thanks God for every hardship, trial, adversity, setback, and rejection.  She testifies that her setbacks were just setups for God to use her in a life-changing way.  Darlene boldly walks in her calling and refuses to water herself down; living beneath who God made her and destined her to be.  She thanks God for using a broken vessel such as herself and giving her a great treasure in an earthen vessel.  To God Be the Glory.

Darlene is an entrepreneur of Darlene Hillis Enterprises.  This umbrella not only covers her Ministry endeavors, but it holds Her Performing Arts Program; Joyful Sounds Unlimited: The Imaginarium for the Performing Arts, The Kenaniah Experience and The Lighthouse Initiative for Domestic & Sexual Violence.

To top all of this, Darlene is a proud mother of three beautiful, talented and gifted children. Faith Alyce Hillis, 29 graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas with a degree in Theater Arts.  She has obtained her Master of Fine Arts in Theater Youth and Community from the University of Texas, Austin.  Faith hopes to open a School of the Arts for children with special needs. Christian Elizabeth Hills, 27 graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas with a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance.  She studied music performance from Redlands University in Redlands, California.  Christian is an outstanding Flautist and Artist.  Darlene is so proud of her girls, and it is a testimony that the fruit does not fall far from the tree.   Darlene's last precious baby Randon H. Hillis died 15 minutes after being born prematurely. She promised him she would always call his name.
